Monday, April 15-Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Johnson Rooms,
Robert H. Lurie Engineering Center, 1221 Beal Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan

RAIDE invites you to a 1-1/2 day symposium that will bring together experts from industry, academia, and government in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Autonomous Vehicles (AV).  We will address the regulatory, technical, and policy challenges and their impact on risk identification and acceptable mitigation.

This event will be in-person only.

Programming on the scientific, theoretical, and practical considerations that promote effective real-world application will focus on:

  • Discussion of tools, technology, and techniques that deal with hazard identification methods, risk assessment, and mitigation-focused decision making, risk acceptance, and risk communication to support decision making across AI and AV.
  • Identifying both common and domain-specific needs and transfer of knowledge and mitigation strategies from one domain to another.
  • Establishing relationships between academic and industry participants to develop connections and form plans for future research, collaborations, and proposals to help advance risk analysis and risk mitigation strategies.

Event Program Highlights:
